We bought the land with the intention of building our forever home nestled into mountain views, but fate led us to a historic home just over the border in NC, which we are currently restoring. We chose 146 Topview for its gorgeous views, airport proximity, (in both Asheville and Greenville) and loads of outdoor recreation areas. The biggest gem turned out to be the neighbors though- seriously kind, good southern people who can build or fix anything and who were quick to welcome us and help us get established in the local community. They helped us navigate the permitting process for the well, power, and septic. They even used their tractor to rescue us once when we got stuck in the mud (before the driveway improvements).
